From your first call to an API that agents pay for

10 tutorials in four tracks, in the order we would take them. Each one ends with something running.

About 5 hours end to end for someone comfortable with a terminal. Skip what you already know.

Track 1

Talk to the chain

Anyone who has used an EVM chain before. No account needed for the first two.

  1. 1
    about 10 min

Read the chain over public RPC

You end with: You call the network over HTTPS, hold a subscription open over WebSocket, and watch blocks land several times a second on chain 125.

  2. 2
    about 45 min

Run a local chain and test Solidity against it

You end with: A node on your laptop answering on port 8545, a passing Hardhat test, and a Foundry build of the chain contracts.

  3. 3
    about 15 min

Connect a wallet and send PAX

You end with: Chain 125 in your wallet, one transaction sent, a signed receipt back in the same call, and the committed block a moment later.

Track 2

Give an agent a wallet

Builders putting an AI agent or a coding assistant in charge of money.

  1. 4
    about 20 min

Create an agent identity from your wallet

You end with: An agent identity derived from one wallet signature and tied to your address, so every action the agent takes traces back to you.

  2. 5
    about 60 min

Run an agent under limits you set

You end with: An agent running on your machine with a monthly ceiling, an allowlist and an approval step for anything unusual, all enforced before a signature is made.

  3. 6
    about 15 min

Give your coding assistant a wallet

You end with: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code can hold PAX, pay for a tool and show you the receipt, and can never exceed the limit you gave it.

Track 3

Pay and get paid

API owners who want agents as paying customers, and agent builders who pay them.

  1. 7
    about 45 min

Watch four apps pay each other

You end with: A buyer agent pays a paid API, a shop checks out an order, and a marketplace sells a program, each step verified against a real receipt on the emulator.

  2. 8
    about 30 min

Put a price on an API route

You end with: An Express, FastAPI, Spring or Next.js route that answers 402 with a price, releases the result once payment lands, and logs every settlement.

  3. 9
    about 20 min

Prove a payment to someone who was not there

You end with: A receipt exported as a portable proof that a counterparty, an auditor or a script can verify with no node and no account.

Track 4

Build a program

Rust developers who want logic that runs inside the network rather than beside it.

  1. 10
    about 30 min

Scaffold, test and deploy a program

You end with: A new program project from one command, built and tested in the workspace, tried in a sandbox, and deployed with a metered fee.
